Ask for Help

The mission of The Center for Volunteer Caregiving is to engage the community in providing volunteer services to improve the lives of seniors, caregivers, and adults with disabilities.

Older Adults and Adults With Disabilities

Frequently, older adults and adults with disabilities need some assistance to remain healthy and safe in their own homes.  The Center offers volunteer support to Wake County residents who are at least 60 years old or 18 years old with a disability.

  • Friendly Visiting
  • Telephone Visiting
  • Light Housekeeping

Caregivers

Family caregivers often dedicate a significant portion of their time and energy to meeting the needs of their loved ones, while postponing their own needs.
The Center provides opportunities so that caregivers can take better care of themselves and, therefore, their loved ones benefit.

Services:

  • Caregiver Respite
  • Emergency Respite, on a limited basis
  • Information and Training

There are NO fees for service.
