Neighbor Spotlight: Jeanne Lindelow & Dr. David Ullrich
What started as a prayer, turned into a Cinderella story unlike any other. This story begins with two volunteers meeting at The Center. Jeanne Lindelow, whom many have come to know as The Center’s Transportation Coordinator, became a volunteer with The Center in 2002.
After retiring from Glaxo, Jeanne put her talents toward helping others. As a volunteer at The Center, Jeanne gave her time to Friendly Visiting and Telecare. It didn’t take long for The Center to see her great talents and skills before they hired her as the Transportation Coordinator.
Dr. David Ullrich began volunteering in various capacities in 1999. David has a great heart and compassion for those in need of transportation, friendly visiting, or phone visiting. David has given to countless care receivers.
Before Jeanne became involved with the Center, she prayed for guidance with her life and relationships. A few years later, Jeanne and David developed a friendship that grew stronger than any ordinary caregiver/care receiver relationship. In fact, the two decided to get married on January 29, 2005 to share their lives as God has given them.
As seen through other Neighbor Spotlight stories, blessings of many forms come to those who serve others. The Center is pleased to be apart of that for many, and we congratulate the happy couple.
