2010 Training

To register for training, either call the center at 460-0567 or e-mail . In your e-mail please include your name, phone number, address, and indicate the session you would like to attend. For Alzheimer's Respite Care Training, please contact Lou Paules at lpaules@ctrvolcare.org. For Assessor Training and/or Volunteer Orientation, please contact Amanda Dean at adean@ctrvolcare.org.
The Center for Volunteer Caregiving charges a one-time $10 administrative fee to help us offset the costs of volunteer administration, including the background check.  If the fee is prohibitive, please discuss with staff at Volunteer Orientation. Our volunteer handbook is available online, or you may purchase a hard copy at orientation for an additional $10.00. Copies will be available to review and use during orientation.

*Please note:  If fewer than five people register for an orientation session, the session will be cancelled.  Those who have registered will be notified if an orientation is cancelled. In the case of inclement weather, The Center will follow the Wake County School closings. If schools are closed, orientations/trainings will be cancelled.
